TruSculpt iD is a nonsurgical body contouring treatment that uses innovative monopolar radiofrequency (RF) technology to destroy fat cells. The device selectively targets the fat layer and therapeutically heats fat cells until they sustain too much damage to survive.
The truSculpt iD system utilises the power of thermal energy to permanently eliminate fat cells. A headpiece is secured over the selected treatment area and gradually heats in cycles. The monopolar RF energy flows from the handpiece into the fat layer, heating the entire fat layer evenly while maintaining a comfortable skin temperature. The energy delivery is automatically adjusted to reach and sustain a therapeutic temperature of over 45ºC in the fat layer, while the skin temperature consistently stays 3-4ºC cooler.
