The technician will move the Venus Viva applicator across the treatment area to deliver individual shots of heated energy into the skin. The settings may be adjusted during the treatment to deliver varying levels of heat as tiny needles puncture the skin. You’ll feel slight warmth and pinprick sensations, but the pain should be minimal.
After the treatment, your skin will be red for a few hours, which may be accompanied by slight swelling that lasts up to 24 hours. A cool air chiller can be used directly after the treatment to minimize these side effects. You’ll have to refrain from using any skin products in the first 12 hours. After that use a gentle moisturizer to help the healing process.
